In the past a whole article would be read to the congregation. This was not laziness but the custom of the time. If the practise continues today then it is poor formation and even poorer expectation.
Now the opportunity to emphasise thoughts, add your main spiritual sources and seek an important defining message are not remote. This may seem like the hard work is being done by an impersonal algorithm with a few vague entries on the part of the Homilist. The reality is creativity can be enhanced with deep reflection, searching out sources and sculpturing your own inner most thoughts then allowing Ai to formulate comprehensively your own work into an enhanced presentation.
